Chalmers Pak Burch & Adams attorney Byung “BJay” Pak was interviewed by WSB-TV for its story on Snellville’s alleged mishandling of approximately 20 provisional ballots in the November 2015 election. Pak was hired by the city of Snellville to represent two of its poll workers.
“Based on the facts I know… I don’t think my clients did anything improper in this case,” Pak commented to WSB reporter Sandra Parrish. “No election is perfect. We try to get rules and procedures that are clear. But sometimes in the chaos of election night and the days following, mistakes do happen.”
Pak said that the number of ballots involved would not have affected the mayor or city council election results.
