Yana received her J.D., cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law. During her time there, Yana was a part of the school’s mentor program, where she served as an advisor to first year law students and helped them get through the unknown challenges of law school. Yana also served on the Student Budget Committee, where she helped allocate an appropriate amount of money to student organizations from a designated budget.

Yana also holds a B.A., summa cum laude in Economics and Spanish from Georgia State University. She is conversational in Spanish, along with being fluent in Bulgarian.
