Wes Jones serves political, business, construction, and civil litigation clients, as well as individuals in need of wills, trusts, and estate planning.

Political Law 

Wes advises a broad range of clients—including corporations, political committees, nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, advocacy groups, trade associations, elected officials, candidates, political parties, lobbyists, and government agencies—on navigating the complex legal and regulatory landscape governing political activity.

He draws on his wealth of experience from previous roles as Oversight Counsel to the North Carolina Speaker of the House; Judicial Clerk to Chief Judge Chris Dillon on the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and Deputy Counsel to the North Carolina Republican Party.  Further, Wes serves as the current North Carolina Chair of the Republican National Lawyers Association.

Business & Construction Law 

Wes works as a fractional general counsel and an attorney-for-hire for small to mid-sized businesses, helping clients form entities, draft and negotiate contracts, navigate regulations, and manage disputes. For example, he serves as a fractional general counsel to Walmart’s chief renovation and construction provider.

His background as a Summer Legal Fellow for the North Carolina Chamber—the state’s largest entity representing business interests—and a graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia provides business clients with a likeminded advocate.

Civil Litigation
Wes has extensive experience helping regular Americans, corporations, small businesses, insurance companies, non-profits, hospitals, doctors, and nurses all navigate the complexities of litigation in state and federal courts. He works on both sides of the civil litigation aisle, defending clients and bringing lawsuits on behalf of harmed individuals and businesses.

Wills, Trusts, & Estates 

Wes has a burgeoning Will, Trusts, & Estates practice. As a young professional, many of his peers—and especially those starting families—have asked him to help plan for a worst-case scenario. His clients have peace of mind knowing that if a personal catastrophe occurs, their assets will transition smoothly to loved ones and their children will have caring guardians.
