Sarah Gilcrest advises technology companies operating in highly regulated industries, including political, on navigating complex corporate, privacy, and regulatory frameworks.
Her practice includes drafting and negotiating a range of commercial agreements, including data processing agreements, master service agreements, and vendor contracts. She regularly advises clients on data protection obligations and the implementation of privacy frameworks under U.S. and international regimes, including GDPR.
In addition to her corporate practice, Sarah maintains an active pro bono practice representing individuals and families in custody, immigration, and civil protection matters. She has also served as a court-appointed Guardian Ad Litem.
Sarah received her J.D. with Pro Bono Honors from American University Washington College of Law. She received her B.A. from the University of California Santa Barbara.
She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
