Personal Experience & Biography

Christopher Stock is an Associate Counsel at Chalmers, Adams, Backer, & Wallen, PLLC with experience assisting individuals and businesses in civil litigation, business transactions and formations, and matters before state boards and commissions.

Christopher approaches disputes with a practical, detail-oriented focus, supporting clients from early case evaluation through discovery, motion practice, and resolution efforts, with an emphasis on clear communication, disciplined case management, and utilizing real-world relationships. Chris has represented, defended, and settled multi-million dollar commercial and personal disputes.

On the transactional side, Christopher works with clients on business formations and related governance and contracting needs, helping align documentation with business goals and operational realities.

Christopher also represents and advises clients in administrative and quasi-administrative settings, including proceedings before boards and commissions, where careful attention to procedural rules, record development, and persuasive oral advocacy can be critical.

Christopher owns and operates a solo legal practice in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He previously served as in-house General Counsel for a state and federal government affairs company in Raleigh and Washington D.C. Christopher began his career as an intern at the North Carolina Republican Party before working in the Washington D.C. Office of Congressman David Rouzer. He then worked at the North Carolina General Assembly for State Senator Wesley Meredith followed by serving as the Legislative Assistant to the Senior Senate Appropriations Chair and Chairman of the North Carolina Senate Agriculture Committee Senator Brent Jackson.

Christopher serves on the Board of the Republican National Lawyers Association’s North Carolina Chapter. He is a graduate of North Carolina State University where he majored in Political Science and minored in Chinese Studies. Christopher graduated from Campbell Law School in Raleigh, NC in 2023 and is licensed to practice law in North Carolina. He is also a graduate of the North Carolina Institute of Political Leadership and the E.A. Morris Fellowship at the John Locke Foundation.
