Complex disputes require more than legal knowledge. They require the ability to investigate what happened, identify what matters, and build a strategy around the facts.
I am a civil litigator at Chalmers Adams, bringing nearly 30 years of experience as an FBI Special Agent and legal advisor to my work representing clients in complex litigation and business disputes. That investigative background gives me a distinct perspective when matters involve fraud, misconduct, competing narratives, or complicated factual records.
My practice includes:
- Complex civil and commercial litigation
- Business, ownership and contract disputes
- Fraud and civil RICO matters
- Director, officer and employee misconduct
- Trade secret and proprietary information disputes
- Whistleblower and government fraud claims
- Class actions
Over the course of my legal career, I have represented clients in significant class actions and complex business disputes, including matters resulting in multimillion-dollar settlements and successful judgments at both the trial and appellate levels. I have also been peer-rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale-Hubbell.
Before entering private practice, I spent nearly three decades with the FBI investigating complex matters involving white-collar and financial crime, organized crime, espionage and public corruption. I also established the FBI’s Public Corruption Awareness Program in Georgia.
Today, I draw on both sides of that experience—investigator and litigator—to help clients understand the facts, evaluate risk and pursue practical strategies when the stakes are high.
I am licensed in North Carolina and Georgia and am also an active member of the State Bar of Georgia. I serve on the Board of Great Prospects, Inc., a Metro Atlanta nonprofit supporting young adults with disabilities.
If you are facing a complex business dispute, investigation, fraud or embezzlement matter or litigation challenge—or simply want to connect with a fellow attorney or business leader—I welcome the conversation.
